A heritage of craftsmanship
I grew up in a household with a crafty father who built boats, buildings, solar panels and everything else under the sun. I was tought from an early age the usage of tools. My mother is an artist and a painter. At the time I did not know the effect this had on me. I am grateful for her sense of proportion and interior design that I have inherited. I am a graduate of the Northwest School of Wooden Boat building and spent the first eight years of my career repairing wooden boats. During this time I had the opportunity to build interior cabinetry for many boats. I also did a a fair amount of general construction during the winters or off seasons. Upon settling In Port Orford I knew I would build a shop and focus on cabinetry, furniture, staircases, wooden surfboards, and any woodworking project that is challenging. This is exactly what I have done for the past twenty years. I have intentionally remained a one man business so that I can see each step through and feel good about what I install.
